Purpose and Scope of Job (Brief summary)
Processing of airborne LiDAR data. Which may include point cloud generation, ortho creation, point cloud classification and mapping.
Responsibilities and Duties (Key planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting accountabilities, responsibilities and duties concerning people, resources and processes)
Ortho Imagery Production
Production of Image List
Tie Point creation
Image list adjustment
Colour Point correction
Seam line creation and correction
Point Cloud Classification
Removal of gross errors
Classifying point cloud (Ground, vegetation, bridges, water etc.)
DTM creation
Contour generation
Point Cloud Generation
Create Trajectory from GPS data
Extract point cloud from Raw data
Correct for Heading, Roll and Pitch misalignments
Generate complete point cloud
Mapping
Digitise features from orthoimagery
Extract elevation for features from point cloud
Software Packages
Microstation
Terrasolid modules – Terrascan, TerraPhoto, Terramodeler and Terramatch
Pos/Pac
Dashmap
