SCANROPE ISSUED LETTER OF INTENT OF NOK 120 MILLION 

ScanRope has been issued a Letter of Intent to deliver subsea power cables with a contract value of NOK 120 million to RWE Npower. This contract is delivery of power cables to the offshore wind farm Rhyl Flats, located in North Wales, UK.  Delivery will be completed during the 2nd quarter 2008. Power cables for offshore wind turbines is a promising business area for ScanRope and the
company experiences increasing demand for power cables to the wind farm industry.
